This is one of the most common schema or learning interests observed in young children.
When you tidy up do you find sand in an envelope, pushed into a handbag, hidden in the washing machine? Do your children enjoy making dens? hiding under the table? Do they paint a picture and cover it entirely in black paint? Are they more often interested in the box than the toy? These are normal children exploring enclosure or envelopment and our toys in this section are especially chosen to appeal to them. If you give children the resources they need to explore their interest then you are helping them to learn in a way they enjoy and also ensuring that they will get maximum enjoyment from their toys.
